Camp Site

We are back from camping - in the remote bush with a few others from the Subaru 4wd Club.

The club goes out to Lochada station each year to do voluntary work (fixing things up) for DEC (dept of Environment and Conservation).

What sort of things do we doi in the area?
Well this year...
Kadji Kadji homestead - Remove all the floor boards for storage.
Boiada Campsite - Small maintenance projects around the campsite.
Removing loose roofing from old sheep race.
Removal of old beds to tip Clean up the area of rubbish
Signage - Make up signs for wells / bores that have not been signed,
when complete erecting these on site.
Naming of all tracks to be retained, and putting the suggested list to
DEC Mid West Region. Survey the boundaries of the estate to recommend where the standard DEC entry signs should be located.
Track Proofing - Continue the track proofing exercises

I'm still in the process of getting my photos sorted out. So I'll be posting more over the weekend.

In brief, we had a great time, great weather (cold nights), and generally really enjoyed having a break from work.
