Indians train UK call centre staff
The call centre revolution has turned full circle with Indian experts now training British workers in how to operate the much-maligned message handling agencies. The United Kingdom's first Indian-owned call centre has opened in Belfast, reversing the controversial trend of British firms switching to the subcontinent to take advantage of cheap labour.
ICICI OneSource, which has 8,000 staff in Bangalore and Bombay, aims to create 1,000 jobs in Northern Ireland over the next two years.
Thanks to http://arbroath.blogspot.com/ for this.

Hello there Rob and Wend,
What a small world!
I just noticed your link re. the call centres. Then I noticed where you used to live.
My late father was from Arbroath, but for the past 30 years or so I've lived in or around Derby.
I know several people who work at the university and remember it well when it was humble old Derby College of Higher Education, which I imagine it was when you were both there.
It certainly has changed (and indeed has changed Derby), in the past few years.
I hope you're enjoying life in Oz.
Very best wishes,
Kev
