Pizza anyone ?

After thinking about it for a long time, and with Michael keen to give it a go (since he'll be doing all the hard work !!!) we've bought a wood fired pizza oven - or at least a kit to build one.

This place sells kits including everything (fire bricks, chimney, insulation etc. etc.) needed to build one of these.

Currently THIS is what our pizza area looks like. It's a (now) vacant bit of land to the right of our pagola. The sun dial marks Mr Darcey's burial spot.

Initial preparations have so far consistered of ordering take home pizza last night, and feeling sick all night due to over-indulgence. Now I'm off to work, thankfully tomorrow (Monday) is a public holiday here, and I've got the day off.
