Kalgoorlie

Next weekend we were to be taking Bingley for a LWE camping up North with the Subaru club - but due to lack of numbers it's been canceled.

So instead we've booked in at the best hotel in Kalgoorlie (600km East of here) and poor B will have to stay here with R & M.

Last weekend we went for a long days beach run - with B. He loved it, he's no problem in the car, even when off road over some really rough terrain.

We were looking forward to another trip to Locada this year, but it's clashed with a trip R&M want to take in the Caravan with a club they hope to join (if they are suitable). So we're going to have to cancel it (someone has to stay home with all the animals!).

New Year 2007

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year.

A rather late new-years resolutions (as I only just came up with it).

This is simple one, so I should be able to keep it...

-- Get a copy of the 1971 film Melody (aka SWALK).

For some reason this film just popped into my head this morning, I remember for some reason I REALLY enjoyed it - I'd only have been about 12/13 when I saw it.

I can't really even remember what it was about, but it must have had some impact on me since I can still remember it's name! A miracle in itself for me.

I did a quick google on it, and it appears a lot of people around that age really enjoyed it - plus it's become a classic in Japan.

We had G & G over last night (G's from Derby, now living in Perth, having married G - from Perth). OK you should know who I'm talking about now... Some great news, that they are expecting a 'g' (a little G ... get it). They will make such wonderful loving parents, I'm really happy for them.

I'm thinking of starting to have a bi-monthly film-night, as a excuse to get G&G around more. Before we do, we'll have to get the TV room improved somewhat.

Some great parties over the Christmas period, I'll have to go over them some other time, as I've got to work, boo hoo...
