Just ordered one of these.
I've just ordered myself one of these, a Subaru Outback 3.0i V6 premium with ALLLL the fruit!
I've gone for diamond-grey, with black leather interior.
Can't wait to get it - unfortunately delivery would be a couple of months off.
L with Bingley
So the Jenkinson clan have left, after a great time (for us at least!). They didn't get the best of weather - which is the problem coming over in winter, but a great week in Broome made up for all he bad weather.
Me - I've been back at work for the last week, including today (Sunday). We have started working on the Christmas lights again, as time is quickly slipping by, and we now find the Subaru club have invited themselves along on the 8th Dec for a lights unveiling Argh!!

Broome broome !
The reason for the lack of entries lately has been a weeks trip to Broome - something we've not wanted to advertise, since we left the house unattended for the week.
Bingley has had his first stay in a boarding home - staying with three other Cav's with some (ex) Cav breeders. He doesn't appear any the worse for the experience, but was certainly happy to see us when we picked him up on Sunday morning.
Cookie and the Nando's trio were looked after by one of Rosaline's friends who lives on the estate. They don't seem worse either, although cookie did have some freedom from the back garden, as the side gate had blown open - our new security cameras show him escaping the day before we returned home. If anything Cookie appears more friendlier than usual, He's not bit R once, and W only a couple of times since we got home.
Broome was wonderful, if for nothing more than the winter sun - in the low 30's most days, just like a typical Perth Summer. Broome is quite small, so we'd done the town within a couple of days. However we had some great trips, including a sunset sail on the 'willie pearl lugger', a visit to the crocodile park
, an evening astro tour (viewing the stars). W of course being more adventurous went sea canoing and camel trecking. Whilst R managed to finish the latest Harry Potter!
There a heap of photos HERE
PLEASE NOTE I've made a lot of the photos only visible to 'family and friends' so you'll not be able to see them unless you create a flickr account. This is just to stop strangers 'perving' at some of the shots. It's easy to create an account in flickr - just follow the flickr links - or ask me to send you a link to make it easier.
W's brother and clan have one more week here - unfortunately it looks like being another wet one. Today was a visit to Freo, for shopping and a speedboat trip.

Straight hair !
W took B to have her hair straightened - click photo to see before and after photos - we think it's made her look about 3 years older. (Dads not too happy about that ;-)
Oranges
We've just removed the last lot of oranges from one of the trees - not really sure what to do with them all!
I've not put much in blog lately - two reasons 1) I've been lazy and 2) I'll have to tell you in a week or so :-)

Guests
W's brother D & J plus neices B & L arrived early (very early) on Sunday Morning.
The rain started not long after they landeded, and hasn't stopped since!
It took over 2 1/2 hours for them to get through Perth Customs - the worse experience of the whole trip. W and I have always said Perth Airport customs is the worst we've ever come across. The problem isn't the security, it's the lack of working staff, and general lack of coordination. For example, on arrival everyone gets filtered into a big 'blob' all pushing and shoving to enter the start of the 'real' que. So for around an hour everyones competing, just to get into the que for customs. Why the airport dont just run a few hundred more meters of zig-zag rope to extend the que is anyones guess.
Enough whinging...
despite the weather they are having a good time so far (I think anyway). We've bought the kids a Wii - if you've not seen one, it's a TV game with a really neat control which detects motion to allow it to feal like a racket when playing tennis, or a club for golf. You swing it, and your motions are duplicated in the game on the TV - great fun!
W and I are off for 2 weeks on Friday (woo hoo) - oh, apart from me working Sunday - doh.
More later.
